The MuddyRedLandRover is a 1989 110 Commercial Station Wagon built by Land Rover Special Vehicles for SWEB.

Body

5 door Commercial Station wagon with external lockers in rear side panels. 4 Seats in black vinyl (standard Land-Rover). Body is hand-painted in International Tractor Red.

Engine.

Land-Rover 200Tdi engine 'tweeked' a bit.

Drivetrain/Suspension...

Britpart yellow +2” spec springs and long travel Pro-Comp gas dampers, Discovery2 coil isolators at the front. Rear coils are clamped in to prevent dislocation.

Rear Salisbury axle with Quaife Limited slip differential (factory fitted by Land-Rover at build). Polybush blue suspension bushes to front, standard Land–Rover at rear.

Wheels and tyres.

Steel 8 spoke wheels and BF Goodrich 255/85x16 MT km tyres.

Roll Cage.

Steel tubular external and internal protection cage. Design similar to Camel Trophy Specification by Safety Devices Ltd as fitted by Land-Rover to event vehicles but with extended external side bars to protect alpine lights. Fixing points, welding and tube specification all to Association of Rover Clubs competition specification.  

     

Winch

T-Max TEW 12000 fitted to Goodwinch Bikini mount.

Other non-standard fittings.

Adapted Servicetune/Rebel Raised Air Intake.  

QT services front differential guard.

QT Services rear differential guard

Servicetune/Rebel steering guard.

Bearmach jackable side sills.

CB radio – Unicom 40 channel uk spec and rear mounted aeriel.

Kenwood CD/Radio and 6no Sony/Maystar speakers, iPOD connects via iTrip transmitter.

Worklamps to rear.

Extra power sockets.

T-Max twin pump compressor built in.
